This museum is in the town of Letterkenny in Co Donegal, and its in a fine old stone building, which was once part of the Letterkenny Workhouse, opened in 1845. It houses all aspects of Donegal life from the Stone Age, to the 20th Century. On the ground floor, they house a series of temporary exhibitions throughout the year. They also house the North West Film archive, and it's available for viewing, on site. The museum is free, so you have no excuse not to visit.
