I was visiting this hotel for a wedding. I decided to book the nicer room 'business class room' to treat myself. On arrival they took us to our room which smelt very badly of cigarettes so we asked to change rooms. They didn't have anymore business class rooms so we were happy to take a standard room and the difference be taken off the final bill.

We noticed that there is not much difference between the 2 room types. Except in the business class room you get a coffee machine, robes and slippers. Hardly worth the extra £35.

On departure there was an issue with the bill where they didn't deduct the difference for the room type. The girl was extremely rude, provided poor customer service and left us feeling frustrated and annoyed.

The room the reception was held in was nothing like the photos. The downstairs bar ran out of champagne (during a wedding and at the start, and it took a very long time for more to come in) and the bar staff were not friendly and appeared to not really know what was going on.

I will not be returning to Radison Blu Letterkenny.

we stayed in the radisson for a 2 night break in october. it doesnt come much better than the radisson blu, letterkenny. great location. very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. modern and very clean room. room service very prompt. food in the restaurant is well worth their michelin star. fast service and top notch food. their breakfast is outstanding.the radisson is a 4star, but their breakfast would be the envy of any 5star hotel. lots and lots of choice for any palet or dietry need. excellent. great pool and gym facilities.would definately recommend this hotel. cant fault it for anything. nothing is too much bother for them.

Had a two-night weekend stay in this hotel at the end of August.

The room was comfortable enough and very clean. We had no problem with noise from other rooms.

Tried the swimming pool, steam room and sauna - everything as it should be.

We enjoyed the food and drink in the bar where prices were reasonable, and there was a good atmosphere about the place.

In contrast to some of the other reviewers, we found every member of staff - receptionists, cleaners, bar staff, etc to be uniformly helpful and courteous.

Was in standard room, room was hot with no air con,had to open window which I don't mind but was noisy at night as overlooked service area fans going all night. Apart from that room was ok But couldn't get safe to open went straight down to report it said would send someone, never did. Take your own shower wash as none in room and tea bags as after 1 st night never got any replaced. Don't want to spend holiday keep asking for things.
Breakfast was good. No entertainment the cheaper hotel down the road did. Pool ok but no hot tub. Liked where it was overlooking retail park.
Went with Newmarket Holidays was good Patric the rep was very nice

I am currently staying here on business as a female on my own I felt they had a quick check in and no room number shouted out like some hotel but girl helpful but abrupt , anyway went in my room to do some work , wifi wouldn't work on laptop but on iPad and cable so short it couldn't reach my laptop connection . After an hour finishing work I noticed the glasses were dirty , the sheets had dirty marks and cobwebs on the wall never mind the fly I couldn't get rid off not pleasant , I spend a lot of time in hotels an in radissons and this one plus the limerick one a the worst I have stayed in. I have been moved and upgraded but apart from a nespresso machine and a cleaner room with air con ! Only available in business class rooms it is no different but for a four star hotel I expect air con. I expect a home from home away on business and I am afraid this is not it. I would rather drive 2.30 hrs home before staying in one of these rooms again this hotel needs refurbished badly chipped furniture old tvs , on a good note the restaurant staff and my food have been great, but that do not make a hotel and I have stayed in just about every hotel in Ireland And this place is terrible on the room front

I have stayed in many Radisson hotels, and this one didnt wow me one bit. On arrival I was met by a somewhat extremly rude female receptionist. Very blunt and extremely disinterested. It was a real turnoff to my stay. I lelt like I was a nuisance and bothering this lady when all I was doing was checking in.
Rooms were nice. Food at breakfast was really good, with hashbrowns (that I havent seen at any other Radisson buffet style breakfast), but all food could of been alot hotter.
Staff were young, and felt like I was rushed out of the bar, probably because they wanted to socialise that night. There was one male staff member, cant remeber his name. Was young, brown hair, was in the bar that night for some time and on breakfast the next morning. Was extremely friendly.
Checkout was a nightmare, with once again a abrupt checkout by the same receptionist.
Overall, this hotel has a lot to offer, great location, interior and amenities. Just staff should be trained more customer service wise, especially the receptionist. She must really hate her job .

Stayed for one night for the fourth time this year. It really is a very comfortable hotel. Decent location close to the main shopping area & nightlife. Rooms are spacious and spotless. Food in the bar is very good & decent value. Only small complaint would be that the tv's in the some rooms are a bit hit and miss with some channels barely watchable as reception is sometimes poor but otherwise highly recommended.
