We are two couples traveling in Ireland and stayed at this B&B as a base to explore the Inishowen peninsula and the Giant's Causeway. The house itself is very well maintained with a large sitting room and plenty of parking. Beds were very comfortable with good sized bathroom. Location was 5 minutes drive from the town center with shopping, restaurants and the cathedral.

Mary and Hugh were great hosts, as helpful as could be. Hugh provided the directions we needed and recommended a visit to a pre-historic circular fort that turned out to be a highlight of our trip. Both are wonderful people.

Very highly recommended to all who travel in the Letterkenny area.

My wife and I stayed here two nights while attending a friend's wedding. The building is charming , yet modern. There is a sitting room on the ground floor, as well as the breakfast room.

Our room was not large, but very comfortable and clean. Mary was a very friendly and helpful host. We would definitely recommend this B & B. We only paid €60 per night for the room.

Once more I am struck by the care and attention given by Ballyraine's owners, Mary and Hugh. They take hospitality to a different level. The guest house is ideally situated for us being on the edge of town and quieter than others in town. Although not of the latest design the rooms are spacious, well decorated and the cleanest in which I have ever stayed.
The breakfasts are varied from light continental to full Irish and any combination desired. My husband and I return here year after year as do many of Mary and Hugh's guests

We stayed at the end of June two nights. Everything was perfect spotlessly clean - warm welcome
Room had all you needed and breakfast was perfect. Our group had 10 people -all were very happy. We had to change our rooms a few times and this was no hassle. On the Saturday morning we needed 50 mixed sandwiches which were top quality. If I return to Letterkenny I will stay here again.

Myself and my wife and sister stayed at this B&B for two nights. Our sister was hospitalised at Letterkenny hospital and we were glad to be able to find this B&B at such short notice. The owner, Mary, was an excellent hostess and made us feel as if we were at home. We had a family room and it was spacious and spotless. The bathroom was small but it was very clean and the shower had a great water flow. Our Irish breakfast was really first class- made you think you were in a first class hotel- and was more than plentiful with a large choice of cereal, fresh fruit and yoghurt. I would srongly recommend this B&B. It was Irish hospitality at its very best.

Room Tip: We stayed in the family room and it was bright and large with very little outside noise filtering in...
