We had two great nights is this fabulous hotel. We were on a Groupon deal and could not quite believe the value and quality! The rooms are spotless and the food in the restaurant was excellent - much better than we thought it would be. The craic was also great - met a wonderful family who go there all the time and it is clear that this is a hotel that cares about its guests. Particular thanks to Shauna who was so helpful, cheerful and professional. Hope a few more international travellers find this hotel as they will get the best Irish warm welcome!

Room Tip: We were on the ground floor - a good bit away from the main reception and this was quiet

Spent a couple of nights in this great wee hotel in the middle of Leixlip. If you want comfort, friendly service, excellent food and drink then this is the spot. Not expensive with easy access to Dublin if required. Would certainly go back. Thanks to all the staff for the friendly touch.

After much research online, I finally decided to book The Courtyard Hotel for a recent family celebration. I was not disappointed-it was FAB!
I phoned beforehand to request an early check-in and this was no problem. We arrived just after 12 and our deluxe room was ready for us to get ready. Lovely room-we liked the little extras like two bottles of wine and water, chocolate muffins, bathrobe and slippers, separate seating area, to name but a few. There was a lovely large balcony also which would be great during the summer on a sunny day!
We left to attend a function and returned later on for our dinner in the River Bank restaurant. We asked could we bring forward the meal an hour and this again was no problem. We were offered a choice of menus-the Early Bird or the Al Carte by the loveliest, most friendliest waitress ever! In the end we all went for the Early Bird as the choice was so great-there was something for everyone and great value. Nice wine list also. We all really enjoyed the meal-the food was fantastic. I really mean that. There are gluten free options on the menu including gluten free bread.
We retired to the bar which was busy and lively-there were two great musicians entertaining everyone. The bar has two levels so we sat upstairs where it was quieter for chatting! We had a wonderful evening.
Breakfast next morning was delicious-cooked to order. Also there is a good selection of breads, fruits, yogurts, herbals teas etc. Staff were most helpful and friendly even though it was rather busy!
The Courtyard is a small hotel but it is big on service and quality. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone-we really enjoyed our night there and were very sorry to leave. Thank you to the staff especially for making it so special for us. We hope to return if in that area again.

Room Tip: Try and upgrade to a Deluxe Room-they are lovely!

Just back from a one night stay in the courtyard. Really impressed with the place, from the service we received at check in to the service and food at dinner in the river bank restaurant. The food was of really good quality and the atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely as there was a pianist playing for the evening. The staff of the hotel are extremely pleasant and helpful. Also good to have a lively bar on the premises with a band playing. All in all, I found this to be a hidden gem. Can't recommend it enough.

Had a dinner with friends recently in the River Bank Restaurant at the Courtyard Hotel. We love the location as we all live locally and often visit the Courtyard for nights out.
We ordered off the early bird menu and the selection was great and very good value. Your staff are excellent, so friendly and polite.
Just a couple of things, my friend ordered the steak and paid the supplement for it and it was not cooked as requested and was served very well done. Also 2 of my friends had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it was very burned on the outside. We showed this to your staff member and it was very obvious.

Just returned home from a short break in the Courtyard Hotel, we found it quite easily as we had read other peoples reviews on Tripadvisor! On our arrival we we warmly welcomed at reception and directed to our room. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The first evening we ate in Arthurs Bar, food was really good and service was excellent, entertainment was a bonus. We found there was a good atmosphere in the bar, everyone so friendly.
Breakfast the next morning was really excellent, freshly cooked to order with a good selection on the menu.
We travelled by bus to Dublin, the bus stop just accross the road fron the hotel and one of my highlights of our stay was seeing Allen Leech from Downton Abbey as he opened Brown Thomas' Christmas window displays.
On return to the hotel we enjoyed a beautiful meal in the restaurant, during our meal the piano was played by an extremely talented pianist.
We certainly would return to this hotel, very helpful, friendly staff, great food and good location.

Stayed in the courtyard hotel recently in Leixlip. A bit hard to find even though its in the centre of the town but as soon as we arrived we were welcomed by Owen and he coulld not have been any nicer and helpful with directions. Rooms were very nice and all the staff were very pleasant to us and could not do enough for us. I would highly recommend this hotel . There was no entertainment on the 2 nights we stayed (mon + tues) which would have been nice but we still enjoyed it. Breakfast and evening meal were lovely. Thank you for making our stay very enjoyable.
