Stayed 2 nights in the Springfield Hotel. Standard room - clean room/bathroom and nice sized bed. However, room and corridors are far too hot. Even after switching off rads, room too hot on 2nd night. As we our room was on the ground floor we were unable to leave windows open as there was no secure latch.
A late party in one of the rooms nearby caused disturbence with loud singing and banging. Hotel seems popular with families and youngsters (crying kids for breakfast particularly on Saturday night) but staff were very courteous and furniture in general areas plus Christmas decorations very nice and easy location for shopping on the outskirts of Dublin such as Liffey Valley.
Breakfast was good, piping hot and plenty of it. Coffee quality - not the best (I'd prefer Nespresso !).
Would stay again but perhaps not on a Saturday night.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on upper floors and away from "young families" if possible.

Went to the Springfield Hotel Christmas night out to celebrate my sisters birthday. It consists of a show with Dinner and a DJ afterwards, The meal was quite nice. Both adults and children enjoyed it. What really sticks out in my mind most though are the staff in the hotel. They were honestly very friendly, helpful and happy. The guys who served us our dinner were genuine, warm and had a nice if not funny, something to say to all at the table. The children were made very welcome which is unusual and brilliant.
The show was The Bee Gees show and they were really entertaining and fun. Everyone in the place joined in and had a great night, I would definitely recommend this as a good night out for families or friends. We all had a fantastic night!

Room Tip: We didn't stay the night

My partner and I recently enjoyed the most enjoyable visit to the Springfield Hotel. We stayed for 2 nights for a weekend break to the Dublin area. The room was comfortable and immaculately clean on arrival as anyone would expect. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly including the receptionist who advised us on public transport into Dublin. The hotel is conveniently situated just outside the town of Leixlip with buses and trains to Dublin city centre only a few minutes walk away. On the second night of our stay we had dinner in the restaurant at the hotel; the food was fabulous, second to none, a menu that made me want everything on it and excellent value for money! We feel that we would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone staying in the area as it is very reasonably priced, has exquisite food, and has a warm and relaxed family- run atmosphere, giving a personal experience. We would like to thank the staff of the hotel for giving us the best experience we could possibly asked for, and we look forward to seeing them again!

We had our wedding at the Springfield Hotel in July. From when we booked it right to the end of the wedding day, we couldn't have asked for better service from the hotel staff. Nothing was too much and any question we had was answered quickly and without a problem. The food on the day couldn't have been better and this was commented on by many of our guests. The room for the reception is a lovely size - bright & airy. The staff made sure everything was just right on the day. I think it's easy to see the difference between a family run hotel and any other hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel and in particular for a wedding.

Tips:
Highly recommend the band that comes with some of the packages, did a brilliant job on the night. They also do the dj set so no taking apart of equipment or anything midway through. We gave them a list of songs that we wanted and they were all played with no problems.
Also, Fiona the florist is excellent and did a wonderful job on the bouquets. She's so friendly and did exactly what I wanted (even though my description of what I wanted was probably not great!) I also wanted some balloons in the room for beside the cake. Fiona doesn't do balloons but she went out and got them especially and put them up for us. Her customer service & attention to detail is outstanding.

Your wedding day is supposed to be the best day of your life & The Springfield certainly did their best in making sure this happened.
