If you stop in there may be an opportunity to view student work. I lucked out and met the artist in residence. Great school. Wish I could go there.

“Studied there and loved it!”

Burren College of Art is a must see. I believe it is a 13th century Gaelic tower castle which is very unusual. The college is nestled between limestone hills (the Burren)which cows, goats and sheep climb a top for warmth in the winter and only come down the limestone hills as spring and summer approaches. The small village of Ballyvaughan, Ireland is tucked along the seacoast and is beautiful. At night you can see the lights of Galway across the bay. The food is amazing! Particularily the seafood chowder with brown bread. Love it and miss it!
