Lovely, loose leaf tea served in quaint tea cups. The service was excellent and the cakes on offer looked amazing! The one down side was that they did not accept cards for purchases under 15 euros which was a slight inconvenience for us! Aside from this it was a lovely place to relax!

Had delicious afternoon tea and cake twice at Tea and Gardens a Rooms during 6 days based in Ballyvaughan. Central table full of lovely looking sweets to choose from, a delightful cottage with a variety of table and seating arrangements. Friendly staff but can be very busy I'd imagine during peak tourist season. Not too meant other coffee options nearby other than pubs.

Such a pretty setting..... amazing views on a sunny day. Food is good... on the small side for what you pay. Cakes are yummy. I definatly would recomnend it and will return..... only negative would be the price.

There seems to be a view prevalent in the minds of some restaurateurs in Ireland that to wear a Ballymaloe Cookery School apron confers the right to charge exorbitantly for very average produce. We stopped for morning coffee on a trip through the Burren. Very attractive location with interesting history. But my word, does this place know how to charge. €5.50 per slice for very average cakes rather took away the enjoyment of the occasion. Once visited, twice shy far as I'm concerned. Morning coffee for two at over €15.00. No thank you.

Cakes and sandwiches offers a variation and confirm the pleasant experience of visiting - wish there were more out door seating on the sea side of the retaurant
