The food is great and plentiful even for picky eaters. The central fireplace at the front door is a congregating area for visitors. Locals are quick to stand and let any ladies that enter the room take a seat. You'll find musicians plunking down to play guitars, whistles and washboards. No one knows anyone else, yet every one is a friend and all get on wel together!

Best veggie burger east of the pond! Couple that with a seafood chowder and a pint of Smithwick's and you're ready to trek over lovely coastal scenery.

We called in for a meal on Wednesday evening. While this pub is cute I found the Guinness not to my taste and the choice of food limited. The stew was good and potatoes boiled in their jackets excellent but there was not a good choice of fish dishes which one would expect in Donegal. Service was sporadic and I would not be enticed to return

I liked the good Irish craic, TheSence of humour in there, they serve great food and a great pint of stout.
