We had our wedding in Dundrum House Hotel last weekend and we, and everyone we spoke to, had a great time. The location, surroundings, golf, food and service, to name but a few, were first class with some amazed at how much choice you get, as well as how much you get, for such great quality at the wedding meal. Everyone was looked after so well, especially ourselves, over the weekend by all the staff but a special thanks goes out to Deirdre, Sharon, Dolores, Noreen and Margaret who added that extra personal touch each step along the way of our wedding preparations. Thanks again for making it an unforgettable experience!! Robin & Michelle

Dundrum House and leisure resort affords visitors charming surroundings in this historic building full of charm and personality. The staff are very friendly and willing to assist and tailor packages to meet all needs. Margaret looked after us and her charm, wit and friendly demeanor made our stay at Dundrum House a very pleasant and relaxing experience. We were part of a golfing society "War Babies" from Portarlington Golf club. It wasn't our first visit and won't be our last. The golf course was in excellent condition and with The Rock of Cashel and the Kilkenny shop in Cashel town there was something for all to do. We did not have time to visit the leisure centre so I can't comment.

Fine old manor house, beautiful golf course, excellent friendly and personal service. Rooms a small bit dated but beds very comfortable. We really enjoyed the stay. Food is exceptionally good. My wife had steak (no supplement) cooked exactly as requested. I had salmon in breadcrumb - delicious. Crispy duck in soi sauce (starter) was one of the best I've had. Excellent desserts.

Room Tip: Hotel does weddings but rooms away from function room

A group of golfers and I stayed there over a weekend in an all in package. The friendly service received in The Venue, The restaurant, and The Golf shop was much appreciated. Our room was adequate if somewhat dated. (room 217) . We had a faboulous in the main restaurant on Saturday night and it was superb. A great place to go to unwind and play golf on a very good but challenging golf course.
The leisure centre was average. The steam room was not working. The spa needs refurbishment.

The hotel overall is lovely and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Yes, it is quite old, but a few updates would be nice. For instance, in the bathroom, a curved shower curtain rod, a new shower curtain and a new shower head would do wonders for updating the bath area. The carpet in the room needs to be stretched to get out some of the wrinkles. The bed was delightfully comfortable and the area was quiet so we had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious. I would stay there again but maybe ask to see several rooms before accepting one.

Room Tip: Check available rooms before accepting one and be sure to check out the shower.
