“A good trip for the children”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

I have never been to here before although I am 32 it was a place that was never of interest to me. However this year was the year I found myself going as my friends kids had never been and as the weather was good I thought sure why not. On arrival you pay in and the kids are given a quiz to complete this helps them to stay focused on the trip around. You can go on the tour where they employees explain all the various species to you or you can go around on your own with each tank having an explanation to the side. The kids enjoyed it as they got a medal for completing the quiz. It is short and for little kids they can become quite restless so be mindful of this.

“Sea Life National aquarium”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

A fantastic opportunity to show young children and adults the kind of sea life found in the surrounding Irish waters....and some more tropical fish as well. Staff are all well trained in the aquarium and knowledgeable.

“Sea life with not much to see !”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

Brought my son and 2 nephews to sea life today. They saw plenty of sting rays but not a whole lot else. It is small, dark, dreary and dirty. Not much interaction with the animals except star fish that you could touch. I was inpressed with the piranha fish but not much else to be honest. Wont be going again. It is also quite expensive for what you actually get (44 euro's for 2 adulst and 3 kids)

“Great for children”
Reviewed July 9, 2013 via mobile

Very interesting place , loads of information about the fish. Staff very friendly. Took about forty minutes to walk around, feeding times are spread out over the day so you can see different fish being fed.
