“A nice stroll.”
Reviewed September 6, 2012

Bray head is clearly marked along the promenade in Bray. Go to the end and start to follow the pathway-it's well marked out. The climb is gentle and if the weather is kind then it is worth it for the lovely view over Bray and the coast. There is a cross at the top which occasionally has people praying there. The walk is easy so suitable for children and elderly - there are plenty of places to sit and it is safe.

Enjoyable walk along the water. Well used by families, couples and singles. Great gelato place along the way.

“If you’re in Bray and don’t climb this then you missed out...”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

If you want stunning views of Bray, Dublin bay and the Wicklow hills get your boots on and climb up Bray head. There is a steep direct bit through a small pine forest if your less able for this go right and take an easier route. Once at the cross you can walk back over Brayhead for more stunning views. There is a much easier route through Kilruddery farms by the Golf course – ask a local they will be delighted to help.

“Great climb for a Fantastic View”
Reviewed August 23, 2012

If you go to Bray for the day, you MUST climb Bray Head. It only takes about 40 minutes, and it is steep in parts, but the view you are presented with at the top is just breathtaking. And if you really have some energy you can continue on along the cliff walk to Greystones!!

“Walk from Bray Promenade to Bray Head”
Reviewed August 6, 2012

What a wondeful walk with fantastic views! Paths are not level, there are inclines and declines and there are some areas of overgrown bramble, but once you get past that the views are priceless. We took the path from Bray Promenade to Greystones but stopped after 1.5 km as we ran out of time, the full journey is approx 5km. I will be back to complete this walk to Greystones, it was recommended by a local to walk to Greystones and take the train back to Bray. My children (both pre-teens) loved the seaside feel of Bray and had great fun running around.
