Paul O'Toole (?), the owner was very friendly and a real laugh. I can't remember being made so welcome. The pub doesn't do food but don't let that put you off, Paul knows the best places to eat. The beer was very good, the company, loads of locals, was even better. One local even got on the barman's case for taking too long to serve our drinks. There is music on so often I get the feeling its hard to avoid it. There are so many little rooms in the place though its easy to find a secluded spot if you need to. The 2 nights we went were one big party. At non-busy times, the 2 cats and the Jack Russell dog were also very welcoming and seemed to have free roam of the place. We had a hell of a time here. Thanks Paul and all the locals too !
