This was probably the best cultural/historical museum I have ever visited. It was beautifully designed. The audio visual experience of it was quite moving and very informative. If you love Ireland you'll love it all the more after your visit here!

We stopped in here on a whim on the way over to their gift shop, and were, frankly, underwhelmed. We learned more from the lady at the front desk who was trying to talk us into buying a ticket, than from the exhibits themselves. The ancient horns that are exhibited are really beautiful and haunting, but that in itself doesn't make a museum.

We enjoyed the entertaining show put on by the resident artists at the center - and the icing on the cake was the opportunity to meet some of the talented performers for a bonus reception after the show and sing along!! Don't miss this...

If you are interested in music, or Irish Culture, this is a 'must see' on any visit to Ireland. I've been twice, 2005 and 2012. And see if you can come while the show season is on.

This show was performed by a group of versatile people. They were able to engage the audience through music and dance. Some were able to play several instrumentsand others could play and sing and yet others could dance and play an instrument. The after show performance was fun and the audience was able to show their own talents. This was optional. We were fortunate enough to sit with the parents of one of the performers and learn a bit about the history of the group. There were people of all ages at the show seeming to enjoy it equally. I would recommend this show to anyone and especially those who enjoy music and dance.
