The food and service were so good that we ate dinner here twice during our stay. The first evening we sat in the bar area and watched the management have to turn away people due to lack of available tables. The place was packed. We enjoyed 2 very tasty dinners and dessert for about $45 euro. The second night were were seated in the back area of the restaurant and the dining experience was on par with our first visit. The clientele was a mixture of locales and tourists to the town. The food was fresh and the desserts were terrific. The pace of service was consistent across both visits. Reservations are accepted but were not needed for the two of us on either night over the bank holiday weekend.

Great food, friendly staff and with several meals to choose from with a bar atmosphere.

We were recommended to eat at Bailey’s Cellar Bar by our B&B host as well as another couple at a local bar down the street. We were told to tell the wait staff that Lou had sent us and we would get great service.

I did mention that Lou had sent us and yes we did get great service. My wife ordered the Fajitas and I ordered Fish and Chips. Both were served quick and hot. I am always a fan of fish and chips and my meal was excellent – Thanks Lou for the recommendation.

We had high hopes for Cellar Bar at Baileys - both on the recommendation of our B&B and when we walked in (it looked very nice), However, we were sat in back room, quiet and alone, while there were still plenty of tables in the more active bar area. It then took forever for anyone to come ask us if they could bring us a drink, take an order, etc. They weren't busy - maybe 5 other tables full when we got there. When we asked if they had wine by the glass, they simply said "yes." Like a guessing game - I had to then ask, OK, can you tell me what is available? It just felt like poor service. No offers as to can we bring you something, etc. The point being we had to ask for everything whenever we wanted something - flag someone down and ask them. The seafood imperial casserole was very good. The seafood pancake was very salty. Berry crisp for dessert was good. We are pretty easy to please, don't demand much and usually give great reviews. We just want to feel like our business is appreciated, and it didn't feel that way here.

Have been here again recently and the food is still as good as ever.
Great variety on the menu and specials and lovely food and service also very good.
The only downside is it's fairly on the pricey side. Most mains 14€ minimum.
