With a building of 13 floors this hotel towers above Dundalk. It also towers above other hotel options because the quality and standard of the product is exceptionally good. For a business trip the strong points included high-speed Internet access, and a really comfortable, well-equipped bedroom, furnished to a high standard. The creative and imaginative touches included a Patrick Kavanagh poem etched in glass on one wall.

The management's thoughtfulness and attention to detail were clearly apparent, and restaurant service was especially memorable - for dinner and breakfast. Staff were welcoming, enthusiastic, and eager to provide a good experience for customers, which they totally achieved. The rate paid (booked online via Priority Club) was very competitive.

Stayed here for one night only. It was a great spot to stop for a night as we were heading up north for a long weekend. Its just off the motorway and easy to find. plenty of parking. we were greeted by very plesent staff who inquired about our journey ect. Our room was on a high floor but cant remember which. The room itself was was fab. Large comfy bed, large room, large tv. Complentry water. as it was late when we arrived we ordered room service and it came fairly quickly. Breakfast was on a top floor also and was fine. All the usual.
Overall super hotel and we got a great rate on the hotels own website.

In keeping with other reviews on this hotel, I concur that it is an excellent hotel!

I only stayed here for 1 night passing through and the location was very easy to find - more or less as soon as you come off the motorway, you can see it from the road. I was driving on my own so was a bit worried that I would get lost as it was dark, but no problems.

The hotel has ample parking in its car park. The staff were polite and friendly. The room was fantastic - spotlessly clean, contemporary design, comfortable. It was luxury, if I am honest! The amenities were great - TV had a good choice of pay-for-view films and cable & music channels. I had room service and the food was lovely. Everything was perfect.

It is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I paid 90 Euro for the night and it was worth every penny. If I ever go back to Dundalk, I would stay here again in an instant.

I was here on business and would definitely return for pleasure. The most outstanding aspect of this hotel was the staff, without exception every employee I encountered was pleasant, efficient and smiling. My bedroom was lovely, contemporary, clean not particularly big but had some great features. Everything you could need was included, a safe, a mini bar, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a super fast kettle (milk and biscuits included), complimentary bottled water, turn down service on request and a chocolate in advance just in case you didn't want to avail of turn down, iron, flat screen HD TV with plenty of channels, great (quiet) air con, very minimal road noise and just the most fantastic bed and soft luxurious duvet. I liked the large mirror which featured behind a section of the desk which allowed the desk to double as a dressing table with plenty of electric sockets within easy reach including European and USA sockets saving on the need for adaptors. The bathroom was very clean, fulffy robes, separate rain forest style shower and a note telling you not to worry if you had forgotten any essential items as housekeeping could provide most things on a complimentary basis. The bathroom also had what appeared to be a steam free mirror and an extending magnifying mirror. The food and in particular the evening meal was great as was the service, the restaurant is on the 13th floor and has beautiful views. Just off the M1 half way between Dublin and Belfast, it was very easy to find, for those of you in a rush, I saw a nearby helipad!

It's thanks to this website we found this fantastic hotel. We were originally looking at Ballymascanlon and decided to see what the number 1 hotel in Dundalk was....

Our room was on the 10th floor with a lovely view out to the sea. The hotel is in a 'developing area' so it's a little bleak locally. You would definitely need a car staying here. Everything is brand spanking new and pristine in the room. Contemporary but with plenty of character is how I would describe it. Loved the autumn theme and the underfloor heating in the bathroom. There was a separate shower and bath which is a good plus too. The other reviewers weren't lying when the said how comfy the beds were! The only downside of the room was it's size - pretty compact - with barely room to walk around the "huge" bed.

Ate in the bar the first night which was buzzing and very pleasant. Food was good though service tended to be a bit slow. Great cocktails too.

The restaurant was the high point for us. Absolutely beautifully decorated (loved the carpet!) and fabulous food and very pleasant staff (lovely Polish girl called Joanna served us at both breakfast and dinner).

Only for the lack of a pool I reckon this hotel would have 5 star status. Can't wait to return some day.
