I stayed here with a group of friends. We needed a central location to stay and we were delighted with how close we were to the theatre where we were going that night. The receptionist couldn't handle the volume of people for a start. The room was basic, but clean, although the bed was too short for my tall boyfriend. The view from the window was dreadful - bins !! Very limited TV and no wifi either. One of the worst things was the noise from the club (called Silence ironically enough) and the street below until the wee small hours - luckily I'd been warned and wore ear plugs. By far the worst thing though is the sign in the bathroom which advises you to run the hot tap for 5 minutes to get hot water. This didn't happen. I ran the shower for ten minutes and it was still cold. Eventually it became tepid and I endured it to wash my hair. My boyfriend found the water did heat up to suit him, but just as he started to enjoy his shower the water turned cold. Appalling. Worse still we paid €80 for the room ! We didn't make it down for breakfast, but my friends who did wished they hadn't ! When we'd met in the bar before we went out we had to ask the bar tender to wash the glasses ! Very unimpressed !! If you want a party hotel and you like tepid showers and rooms in need of modernisation, this is the place for you !!
