“What a fabulous place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

Really difficult to write anything negative about this place, so I won't!! The staff are terrific and the food was out of this world! I would recommend that you try the fillet steak, I have never had a steak like this anywhere else, you will not be disappointed or be able to eat for a day or so after, in a great way. This place is a must if you are in Dundalk!

Just back from a lovely meal in the Windsor which was buzzing with people. Food and service were great and the atmosphere was great. This is a great venue for locals and visiters alike

“Good lunch menu at reasonable value”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

We had lunch here on a thursday afternoon after hearing some good things about the food and value. The Windsor has a nice interior. red brick and dark wood with 2 separate bars downstairs and another bar upstairs with a more formal restaurant area.
We chose a sandwich from the lunch menu, ciabatta sandwiches are mostly around €7.50 with a sirloin beef and mushroom sandwich at €9.50. these included a side salad and chips.
Both where good portions and tasty. We just had water (complimentary) and some coffee after. They told me the coffee was filtered but tasted more like instant and as the espresso machine was broken (at the moment) i thought 2.50 for a cappuccino made with filtered (or instant) coffee was a bit dear.
Service was efficient and friendly. I will definitely be back again.

“Very average”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2013

Food was average, service was average, (had to ask more than once for a couple of things) and the bill was a little on on the higher side. Friends have asked to meet there in a few weeks time so I'll see if it will be any better, maybe it was just an off night as I have seen and heard good reviews before, I'll keep you posted!
