Visited this restaurant with a few friends for breakfast. 2 of us ordered scones and tea and the other 3 ordered full breakfasts/ eggs etc. We asked the waitress did we have sufficient time to order the full breakfasts as it was approx. 10.10am and we were attending a funeral at 11am. She said it shouldn't be a problem and she would inform the kitchen staff that we were in a hurry. If she had of said that there wouldn't be enough time we would have all been happy to order a scone and tea or something quick. The waitress serving our table was very friendly and polite, however, all of the drinks arrived after the food. The full breakfasts were brought out first then the scones. As another waitress arrived with the tea, my friend reminded her politely that she also ordered a glass of coke (which would have been 25 minutes previously at this stage) to which the waitress replied "It's coming now, two hands". We felt this was very rude as my friend was almost finished her food and it wasn't an unreasonable request. Another friend had also ordered a tea with her breakfast which was forgotten about and she didn't have time to get it in the end. The restaurant was busy enough but not overly crowded. I understand that we were in a hurry but we did inform the waitress of this. It would have made more sense for the drinks to be given to us while they waited for the kitchen staff to prepare the food. The food was very nice and I don't often write negative reviews but felt the service was quite disorganised here and that the comment made by one of the waitresses was rude.
