Excellent restaurant set over a very busy pub.
Went with colleagues for pre-Christmas night.
Limited menu, but everything available.
Short but interesting wine list.
Food all freshly prepared and served by very friendly staff.
Rack of lamb cooked to perfection.
Excellent choice in Dundalk. Ability to have a beer before/after in the lively pub is a real plus.
Recommended without hesitation. Very good value.

I used to love this place a few years back and decided to treat my sister to a meal for her birthday. The decor is still great and was looking forward to a good meal. I was surprised to see the place empty on a weekend evening but ignored the warning signs and sat down.

Years back this place always had a great selection of food and specifically had a veggie option-in fact I checked out their menu online to ensure that there was a veggie option. Alas the menu had been changed and there was nothing for the likes of me! Normally this is no biggie and request a veggie option. The waitress suggested fish!!!!!! (why???) I explained that vegetarians eat vegetables (silent duh moment). On enquiring alternatives with the chef-it was decided that all the he could come up with was.............AN OMLETTE!!!!!! We left and headed to Enos up the road and we both had a beautiful meal.

How can a person be trained professionally and come up with that masterplan is beyond me. Its very obvious why this place was deserted while enos was packed

This lovely little dining room makes for a great atmosphere. Friendly genuine staff and FANTASTIC food. I hadn't been in Dundalk for some years so hadn't been in Quaglino's in a years. However delighted to say that the quality never changed! Highly reccommended.

Had a lovely meal in this Restaurant during the week.Four course meal with bottle of wine 52 euro for 2 excellent value.Food was superb. Five different starters, five different main courses and a symphony of desserts tea or coffee.I had vegetable soup which was a meal in its own! with delicious brown bread.Hubby had prawns in Filo pastry said they were gorgeous.Followed by chicken on a bed of mushrooms onions and sliced fried potatoes with a lovely spicy and very hot ! dressing which was absolutely gorgeous other course was steak cooked to perfection all was served with seperate portions of perfectly cooked mixture of veg and potatoes. Dessert was 5 liitle desserts chocolate cake , cheesecake ice cream and another little thingy with fresh cream all calorifically lovelly. The restaurant itself is homey and comfy with no pressure to hurry Staff are all very nice and helpful including Mohammed and owner Pat who always interacts with the patrons. This restaurant is above and part of a pub. They also do lovely lunches with different menu every day.I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone locals and tourists alike. Hope to be back soon.
