“Great place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2013

We noted this place from the great reviews on tripadvisor. We were not disappointed! We had afternoon tea, in beautiful english bone china cups, the biggest, freshest scones served with jam and cream, a pot of tea big enough for 4 people, (only 2 of us!). Everything was delicious and the price was so reasonable. A great find!

“Great Food with a Great View!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

Delicious fare, done with style, and what a breathtaking view from their cafe area! We ate twice there, and both times it was wonderful. They handles our large group from the US with ease and made us feel welcomed and treated to their part of the world!

“Brilliant Find!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2013

Found this lovely place on last day of holiday....only wish we'd found it sooner!! Food absolutely lovely. We had freshly made sandwiches on lovely, fresh, crusty bread. This was followed by cake, berry crumble, apple pie & coffee. Cakes were delicious, fresh & large portions!! Parking to rear & front of building. Staff very welcoming & friendly. The facility was spotlessly clean, with beautiful veranda area outside with stunning views. Would highly recommend to anyone & will be back if we are in the area again!!

“Only top class option we found in Glengariff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

Having returned from Glengariff to write a review on Jim's I wasn't surprised to find it was already rated number 1.

With 10 kids in our shared house we mainly ate at home / picnic but went for take away coffee in Jim's midweek and ended up going back for breakfast / lunch / cakes / coffee every day after that!

The atmosphere and staff are great, decor tasteful and elegant and food fantastic.

It's only downside is that it is away from harbour, park, Main Street, playground and requires you to drive to it. However like all classy places its worth the effort.

Like other reviewers - as a non-local, the place looks closed with 1 empty parking space in front. It needs a large "Parking to Rear" sign to let the passing tourist know - but now anyone reading this review knows - Stop they are open!!

“Outstanding food and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2013

We stopped in late am, and missed breakfast, but had a lovely quiche and small sampling of salads. What a treat.
