We had travelled over to Glengarriff and very much enjoyed walking around until it came time for lunch and, although both sides of the main street were lined with bars offering meals, none of them looked at all inviting. So we decided to get back into the car and drive towards Bantry. Just on the outskirts of the town we chanced upon Joe's Coffee House and it turned out to be a wonderful find. The food is beautifully fresh and varied, the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful and the views over Glengarriff Bay are stunning. After our first visit we made sure that we went again and again. The standard was consistently superb. Great.

Have been here on numerous occasions and it just gets better and better. Stopped off on Friday evening for cheese board and wine. Wow is the only word. Went back Saturday for breakfast and Sunday for lunch all of which were excellent. Staff are so helpful. Can't wait for our next trip Glengarrif.

The coffee here is excellent. Lattes are made correctly with the milk steamed consistently well (3rd time visit). Would I be asking too much for latte art in the future? Sandwiches are excellent with the bread sourced from a German bakery in Kenmare. Every day they have a different hot plate and I had the salmon skewers with noodles and was very good. I also noticed they had German beers (big fan!) with the correct glasses and this place would make for a perfect evening drink given they have the most exceptional view of the sea from the garden (seating available). Highly recommended.

We (me and my wife) went there for breakfast on a sunday mornign. Very nice atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff. Food was great also. The patio looked very nice, although we didn't sat outside because of the weather.

Stopped into this charming cafe numerous times now and each time the food gets better! Prices are reasonable and the staff extremely friendly. The wide array of cakes on offer are a treat to both the eye and palate! The view from the outside patio showcases the very best of Glengarriff harbour.
