“Million dollar view!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2013

This B&B was a little tricky to find but oh so worth it. We booked it through B&B Ireland. The view was amazing. Ann and her family are simply lovely. She goes out of her way to make sure you are happy. Now my favorite part of the stay was Ann's breakfast. The best we had on our 10-day stay in Ireland that included a stay in a hotel in Dublin and a luxury castle. Best Irish breakfast complete with warm homemade scones. She sent us on our way with additional scones! She also offers a three course dinner which I definitely would have tried if we stayed a second night. She then sent us on our way with a suggestion to take the Skellig ring on our way out of town - gorgeous panoramic views! Quiet, coastal road and no other cars just as Ann described.

Room Tip: Request a king size bed if possible, but I would sleep on the floor just to enjoy one of Ann's m...

My parents and I stayed at Currane Lodge when they came to visit and travel with me during my time studying at UCC in Cork, Ireland. We traveled along the Atlantic Coast of Ireland and stayed at Currane Lodge for a night during our trip. Ann was a wonderful host and she was very knowledgeable and helpful about where to go, and gave us some great tips for while we were in Kerry. Coincidentally, Ann was driving behind us on are way out and saw we took a wrong turn. She pulled over to the side of the rode, got out of the car and helped us get back on track. Ann's scones were out of this world! Right-out-of-the-oven warm and fresh; some of the best scones I have had my entire stay in Ireland.
Needless to say, our stay at Currane Lodge was grand!

Ann and her husband were very good hosts. They are very nice people and the views were amazing. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice shower. Breakfast was amazing and the views were unreal. This is a fantastic B&B, but it is a short driving distance to the very small town. It would be a great B&B to stay at if you were fishing, as it is right on the water and Ann's brother is a fishing guide.

My brothers and I stayed 2 nights at Currane Lodge and it was a wonderful place to take a rest during a hectic visit to Ireland. The scenery was breathtaking and Anne's hospitality was wonderful. We will definitely return.

Another superb trip to Currane Lodge. Took 3 years to get back to Currane Lodge and it was well worth the wait. Ann did everything to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. The accomodation was as homely and welcoming as always and the food was out of this world. Thanks Ann.

Just come back from my second week at Currane Lodge and it's every bit as good as it was 3 years ago. The position above the lake is perfect for fishermen and sightseers alike. Ann's hospitality is unmatched, her cooking to die for and the rooms clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Currane lodge for one night on our way through the ring of Kerry. We wished we could have stayed longer. The room were a good size. Ann was very welcoming and the place had an amazing view. It was also great value.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 4 which was a good size and was fine for 2 of us. I think rooms 1 and 2 are bigge...
