I visited this bistro for lunch and if dinner is as good it gets the complete thumbs up. I had the spring rolls main course and it was delicious. The rolls came with a light crispy salad with just enough of each vegetable (you have no idea how hard it is to get the salad balance spot on), the Left Bank chef had it down to a fine art! I had the coffee cake dessert and that was perfect too. I was a bit disappointed when the small coffee cup arrived but again it was just enough to wash down the dessert.
The staff were friendly and efficient. The decor was just right again with good use of an old building without making it look like a museum.
The only negative thing I can say that it is a bit pricy at 15 for a two course lunch but some might say that the quality of the food was worth it.
To sum up the Left Bank I would say they just get everything right.
