My partner, my parents and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here on a dry Saturday November afternoon. I was surprised that restaurant was open not just for evening dinners but for lunch (1pm to 4pm) on Saturdays.
The food was excellent and the menu is a mixture of fish and meat. Starters consisted of Mussels which my partner and Dad enjoyed. My Cesar salad was unusual as the chicken was coated in breadcrumbs. It tasted wonderful. For the mains my Sirloin streak was perfect with hand cut chips. My mother said her salmon was perfect which was accompanied by her favourite tipple West Coast Cooler.
Service was fine with a lot of staff on top of their game, friendly and cheerful
The restaurant stocks three types of non alcoholic beer which outdoes many a public house which is ideal for designated driver in the party.
I would return to this restaurant again as special treat for family get together.
I am awarding four stars for a no faults experience but the restaurant experience did not blow me away to award five stars.
