Attended a conference here and will return! The hotel is centrally located with lovely rooms, very spacious and fantastic bathroom! Really comfortable bed! The food was great both breakfast & dinner. Greatmenu for dinner, my only problem was choosing what to eat! The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Everyone one of them was friendly, helpful and would go out of their way to help!

The hotel is located in a convenient part of Athlone which means that the castle and other places you are likely to want to see are only a short walk away.

The rooms are spacious, very well laid out and very nicely decorated. The beds are huge and so comfortable you may feel inclined to indulge in a lie in.

I wouldn't hesitate in returning on my next visit to Athlone which I look forward to as it's a great place with very friendly people.

Stayed here with my wife and extended family for one night last weekend.

The hotel is located right in the centre of the town and is connected to a shopping centre. Staff were very helpful and courteous at all times.

Our room was fantastic (ninth floor of tower) with great bay window overlooking the delights of Athlone and the Shannon. Electric curtains also, if you don't mind.

Room had all the usual trimmings and the bed was very comfortable.

We were to attend a family reunion and the room and buffet food we had were excellent.

Had breakfast the next morning and this was very good also.

Overall, very happy with our stay.

Stayed here for a two night stay with my wife. The hotel is very central for visiting Athlone and Shopping.Checkin was brisk and no problem's. We booked a deluxe room in the tower. Had to take two lift's to get there. First we got a lift to the 2nd floor then walked a bit to the tower building and got another lift. Diden't bother us much as when we got to our room it was just beautiful. Large room with seperate bath and shower. Really big bed approx 7ft wide and very comfortable. The sleep quality in this tower area of the hotel is brilliant. No outside noise whatsoever & only about 5 rooms on each level. Stayed on room only so cant comment on the breakfast. Had some lunch in the bar. Food was ok but a poor selection and fairly expensive we thaught. There are loads of restaurants in the ajoining shopping centre. The hotel and shopping centre are in the one complex which is great. No need to venture outside if the weather is bad. One little gripe we had during our stay when the room was made up. The cleaning lady only left one bath towel in the bathroom so we had to call reception to get more towels. All used towels have to be left in the bath tub to be replaced which we did. Also the internet Wi fi is rubbish and too slow. Had awful problems trying to connect with my phone. Even one of the managers was unable to connect for me. Lasts for 12 hours then you have to connect again with name and room number. This was the worst wi fi i ever had in any hotel we stayed in. Really frustrating to try and get connected. But leaving this aside we loved this hotel. Will certainly stay again as it is so central and rooms so quiet at night. Must be the best hotel in Athlone by a long shot

Room Tip: Any room in the Tower will be really quiet at night and could cause you to sleep in and miss the breakfast they are so quiet
