Description: The Irish Arms is a Pub, Restaurant and B & B situated in Lisdoonvarna Co Clare. This landmark Pub has been owned and run by The McNamara Family since 1990. It's reputation as the best Pub in which to dine in Lisdoonvarna has been built on steadily, year after year, for nearly quarter of a century. Maintaining high standards in quality, service and hygiene are always their top priority. The Irish Arms is highly recommended by many of their neighbournig Guest Houses, B&Bs, and Hostels. Their Menu caters for most tastes, with a strong leaning towards Traditional Irish Food. They serve Homemade Soups and Chowders, Burren Smoked Salmon and Succulent Steaks, as well as their famous Bacon & Cabbage, and Beef in Guinness Stew. A Daily Secial is served everyday and a Roast Dinner is available every Sunday. They offer a varied Kids Menu for only €5.50. They serve quality food at reasonable prices. You will find them conveniently located on the Main Street at the top of the town, next door to the Post Office, and only 200 metres from Lisdoonvarna Town Centre. The McNamara Family look forward to seeing you at The Irish Arms soon.

“Friendly and warm people”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

My husband and I enjoyed stopping in for a drink (and getting a chance to use their Wifi, as we didn't have access to Wifi where we stayed) a few times at The Irish Arms. The owners were so down-to-earth and lovely, and the eats and drinks were delicious.

“Lovely & warm on cold miserable day”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

This pub certainly cheered us up after we were disappointed by thick fog and rain on the cliffs of Moher. The food was good, service and friendliness good. Highly recommended.

Reviewed October 10, 2012

We actually stayed in the B&B here and also ate here twice. First evening i had Chicken Wings followed by a Superb Steak. I mean SUPERB. Tom had Sefood Chowder followed by Fish and Chips. All excellent. Second day i had Soup and Stew, and Tom had Chicken Goujons followed by The Superb Steak. (My recomendation ha ha). Place is spotless and staff were very nice. Highly recomended.

“The best Roast Beef”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

We stayed here during the festival and ate here as well. We had the best Roast Beef dinner we have ever had outside of home. Very good value and came with all the trimmings you would expect.

“Good pub grub”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

A no-nonsense pub serving standard range of grub, but well-cooked and promptly served. Great when you need a reliable meal at the end of a long day in the beautiful Clare countryside.
