Easy to miss when you drive into lisdoonvarna. Doesn't look like much from the outside but it's a great little find. Good food and great atmosphere.

“Terrific Find”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

We visited Wild Honey after we saw a extremely positive review in the Irish Times. We had Sunday lunch after a most pleasant walk in the Burren. The food is fresh, delicious and is creative without being fussy, local ingredients are to the fore with fish plates being recommended. It has a most relaxed feel with attentive well informed service in a country house atmosphere. Highly recomended.

“Lovely Pit Stop”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

Have read many glowing reviews for this restaurant and on a recent trip around Clare we decided to have lunch there. We were warmly greeted and there were plenty of tables to choose from, the ambiance is warm, welcoming and the decor is lovely, toilets are spotless.
Service was excellent - a nice selection on the lunch menu we choose fish and chips and fish pie, the fish was hake, it was beautifully presented but the fish was quite dry and heavy, the chips were fine but nothing special and there was a small salad with very nice dressing. The fish pie was again just ok, neither portion was huge and for the price €15.50 and €16.50 we felt it did not represent the best value - however the dessert of toffee pie was one of the nicest I have ever eaten and the portion size was generous.
Will definitely stop there again for lunch, cannot see how the food is getting such magnificent reviews in respect of what we had to eat.

“Exquisite Food”
Reviewed December 6, 2012

After a long day of driving and visiting the Cliffs of Moher, we found this amazing restaurant on the drive back to our cottage. We never expected to find such exquisite food in the "middle of nowhere". The atmosphere was warm & cozy, with an attentive staff and an excellent wine & beer selection. And the chef---oh, my---the duck was scrumptious!! The plating was beautiful and all the food would have wowed even the most discerning gastronomer. When I make my next trip to Ireland, Lisdoonvarna and the Wild Honey Inn Bar/Restaurant will definitely be a part of my travel plans!!! Slainte Mhath!!!
