Roger and his guide provided a great trek into the hills of Connemara. They shared their knowledge and skills freely and provided friendly, sturdy mounts. This establishment will gain favour as word gets around.

My family and I were touring Galway from the US and were fortunate enough to find this riding centre. Roger did an outstanding job of leading the 5 of us on a beautiful trial ride. Our youngest daughter was the only experienced rider. Roger did a great job of fitting each rider to the appropriate horse.it was a fun vacation experience we will never forget!

Our family of 4 (including 11 and 14 year old kids), thoroughly enjoyed our 90 minute ride last July. Our guide, Roger, was very personable and provided interesting commentary as we traveled over the hilly countryside, for example pointing out areas where remnants from the Great Potato Famine were still visible in the hillside as well as explaining the peat-processing procedure behind the stacks of peat we saw drying in various locations along the ride. We traveled through the countryside, ending at a picturesque stream at the top of a large hill that had fresh water that was clean enough to drink directly from (we did).

The horses Roger chose for us were appropriate for our group of novice riders. When we arrived we watched more experienced riders and their horse riding lessons, so they have a wide variety of horses available.

It was a great, very memorable experience that our whole family hugely enjoyed!
