There were four of us with four sherries while reading the menu. One squid, two mushroom soups a a smoked salmon... all simply presented but very good.
The hake was exceptional, simple, flavousome and quite enough. The vegetables served separately were very good indeed. A nice Sancerre, some coffees and a long conversation all made for a very nice 'old fashioned' Sunday lunch out with the family. Less than €40 per person. Recommended as is, but a long overdue refurbishment will close it for a while in late March / early April. After which the menu will have an uplift and a lower price possibility as well. We will certainly try that.More
