Description: Tel: 806 3921 They've got a couple of rave reviews from newspapers displayed in their restaurant, but unfortunately I didn't note which papers they were. Their seafood was incredibly fresh, perhaps bought right off of the docks. We had incredible fried oysters and a hearty seafood chowder as appetizers, then an earlybird seafood special for two for dinner which included fishcakes, crawfish, mussels, Dublin Bay Prawns, squid, smoked salmon, and a small salad. Beautifully plated, amazingly delicious. I hope you're able to get more info because this place is not to be missed!

Stopped here for lunch. Very fresh seafood, a nich variety of locally caught fish. We all enjoyed every bite. Howth pronounced hoe th is a nice stop while visiting Dublin. Take the ferry to get there and the train or bus back.

We have eaten here a few times and it has been a pleasant experience. Recently, when visiting on a quiet Monday evening the staff was particularly friendly and efficient. The set menu provided good choice and value. Highlights were mussels and calamari. I had the oriental seatrout for mains and found the sauce a little too sweet and overpowering of the lovely fish - probably down to personal taste and choice; the mussels starter was so large, delicious and tasty that I did not complain!
The decor is fresh and interesting. Recommended.

My sister and I visited Deep restaurant on our way home from the airport. In fact she had booked it from London as she had enjoyed it so much when she had been here a couple of years ago with her late husband. This was my first visit and enjoy is not the word, it was absolutely fantastic. The food particularly the fish was beautiful and the service was excellent. We had the two course early bird and the price was very reasonable. All food was freshly prepared and served with a smile. Great restaurant.

We take a train by DART from Dublin city centre to this small costal fishing village for a short visit. We then had lunch at Deep for the famous local seafood. We order a dish for two Neptune Seafood Platter, which consist of a lobster, the Dublin Bay prawns, salmons, and the real fresh and juicy oysters. The seafoods were fresh and well cooked which we loved and truly enjoyed. For those visitors after a hectic Dublin city tour and would like a short break for country air, I strongly recommend you come to Howth to relax and have a nice seafood, particularly the Deep.

we went to Howth for a day out (during a weekend stay in dublin visiting family) and we were walking along the front looking for something to eat and chose this restaurant, when we went in we were seated and from then on nothing was too much trouble. the food was out of this world and we were left to enjoy our food at our leisure. the waitresses we could not fault as they were attentive and gave us good choices for our meals. the restaurant was full when we were there in the afternoon and we were told that in the evening they were fully booked out. the choice of wine was brilliant and next year when we go to Howth for a long weekend instead of a day trip we will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
