“Good Walk”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

Good walk and there's a good pub at the end if you fancy a pint. Wrap up warm though as can get very windy.

“Hills and Sea Views”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

Howth Hill has lovely walks, they can be for as long as you wish to go. With good weather it is marvelous to walk the cliff walk. Caution with children as fencing is not great. To start the walk it is a distance from Howth village, not for the faint hearted. Lovely views of Dublin Bay when the weather is fine and no mist.

“Breathtaking views - Walk with caution”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

Howth hills are a good alternative to the cliffs of Moher if a traveller has less than 3 days to visit Ireland by staying at the Dublin area. There is a good walk that may take up to 3 hours to complete and considering all the ups and downs of the hills it is not recommended for people out of shape. I would suggest to reach the summit by bus or taxi and visit the right side of the walk that brings to the Baily Lighthouse. It offers breathtaking views on the cliffs. The path is dangerous in some points so walk with caution and avoid it during windy days.
