Almost a year on from our previous visit to the Lady Gregory, It must be said that the management have been consistant in maintaining the standards encountered on our 2013 visit. Service from the staff was excellent, a warm reception & lovely bar food. This hotel is situated very nicely. It's a gateway to the Burrin and not too far from Galway City. We decided on a trip to the Burrin & a drive down to Doolin. The weather was not suitable for a trip over to the islands, perhaps next year. We booked the hotel through one of the deal pages and again found it to be excellent value for money. Food, Servise , staff & the ambience was excellent. If I was to be picky, the hotel was a little quite on the Friday night of our visit and we nicknamed the barman Houdini, cos he kept disapearing. This didn't cause me or her good self any hardship as we were just chilling with friends and his disappearing acts were the source of some amusement as one or two bar customers were a little irate with the lack of service. Highly recommended for a couple of nights away from it all.
