fantastic park... lovely museum .. very kid friendly .. paths are well marked and it not difficult to orientate . parking is easy either for cars or van or coaches. One thing we didn t like was the bar service when we asked if they accepted cards - laser or credit - a lady in a very rude way told us they don t and they never did whilst in our previous visits to the park I remember we paid with a laser car. Even if we had cash with us we left because of the rudeness of this lady. I remember we had good food there all the times we went there and it was a shame we were treated in such a way.
The park and the story of Lady Gregory are fantastic and Coole Park is a plus for the area we like to visit very often so if you are in south Galway, well a visit is a must

Two easy to follow trails through woodland. The family trail is around one mile long, the woodland trail is 3 miles. The family trail is suitable for buggies/kiddies bikes. Free parking and nature trail sheets for children. Clean toilets. There is a tea room open 7 days (we brought a picnic so can't comment on food). We spent just over two hours walking around (primary aged children).

Spent an hour here late march. Had never heard of the place but we had a very nice time. Autograph tree is a must see. Could not get all the way around due to floods but will certainly come back

It was a really great place for the kids to run and to be in nature. Beautiful and relaxing. Except for the part when our 4 year old fell in the mud.
