I have dined here with my wife on several occasions over the last few years and have always come away somewhat disappointed. The problem is that the menu is extensive and tries to cater for all tastes. This is only achieved partially because there is just too much on offer for it all to be good. Dishes range from delicious to very ordinary making for a patchy dining experience. A great starter can be then followed by a mediocre main course and so on..........you get the idea! However, the owner has yet to figure this one out. A more concentrated menu featuring the Chef's best dishes would do the trick.

Having said that though, my wife adores this restaurant hence the reason for the odd return visit. The surroundings are cosy, comfortable, clean and modern. The staff are attentive and professional. Parking is not an issue and prices are very reasonable.

This restaurant definitely has latent potential but needs to play to its strengths and stop trying so hard to please everyone.

Have eaten here a couple of times and its always great. Ate there one sunday with a friend. When we started it was quiet but come 4pm the place was starting to get packed. Great atmosphere and the woman serving was so helpful. Very resonable prices.

We stopped here as my partner had dined in this restaurant before (under former management - Little Italy).
I had the pasta 'Bia Bella'...chicken & brocolli in a creamy pesto sauce. It was lovely and a very generous portion. The waitress was very friendly and was more than happy to add bacon to my dish. This dish was very rich and filling so I was sorry I didn't share it and get a salad to share too. Not a bad complaint!!
My partner had pasta carbonara. This too was delicious and again a very generous portion.
There is something for everyone on the menu...traditional Italian and also European dishes.
The restaurant was busy and it would appear to be repeat custom which is always a good thing.
I will be back!

Wednesday night, but still enough people dining to create a nice atmosphere. Ordered starters of mushrooms and bruschetta to share, but we didnt get bruschetta we got garlic bread, (wasnt till the following day we realised or we would have said something at the time). Sea Bass to follow, which was beautifully cooked. Veg and potatoes or chips accompanied the mains, they were just ok. . Tiramisu for dessert and was best Tiramisu have tasted for a long time. A nice menu if you like Pizza and Pasta, and the usual Italian Anti Pasti, with a few Irish dishes added for the less adventurous. Staff were very pleasant and very friendly and jokey, if a little rushed at time (hence the mistake with the starter as our server was pointing out tables to new customers as she was taking our order) All accompanied by a nice bottle of Australian unoaked chardonnay, there were two decent enough house wines on the wine list for e15.... and dont ask me about the bill....I didnt pay!

On a recent trip to Tuam, Bia Bella was recommended as a great restaurant for all the family. We had a warm greeting on arrival and even though we were a party of 11 of mixed age and soberiety i may add,the warmth and hospitality remained intact throughout our dining experience. No one struggled to find anything on the wide menu to tickle their taste buds for starters or mains. We did sample the wines on offer at at very reasonable prices i am pleased to say the mark was hit.The desert list is not extensive which was dissappointing for myself and 1 other as we do have a sweet tooth. The special of twin cheesecakes of strawberry and rhubarb sounded devine to finish ,but to hear that only one portion was available was a shame. However we did share and as small as the portion was it was very tasty indeed.I,m sure i will return to Bia Bella if i,m in the area again.
