Long sandy beach with gently shelving shallow water that's suitable for children. Very busy when we visited and parking limited.

A lovely afternoon was spent looking out over the sandy beach and very clear blue water. Didn't swim as no life guard on duty, but too early in the season. A must if you're in West Cork.

Beautiful, clean beach. Long white sandy stretch, great for a brisk walk. Lovely setting, enroute to mizen head. Walk the beach and head back to beautiful, beautiful crookhaven for a bowl of chowder in osullivans.. lovely

All I can say its irelands best kept secret, tucked away all the way down by the mizen far enough away for the hordes not to invade it, even on a sunny summer day it can be peaceful.
Beautiful Sandy Beach, just stunning

Great to walk and feel the wind in your hair. Take a trip over to Crookhaven to have chowder and a pint of Guinness.
