Just brilliant, food space service and atmosphere. The food was brilliant, pints were great too. We went during a very quiet time but Casey's was still busy probably because it had everything. The jacuzzi bath was great, and the staff were sweet enough to bring desserts to our room - we were happy to take them with - they said no worries and set the whole lot up beautifully in our room before we even made it there. No room service charges or anything as you would expect :) Just lovely.
We had no problems with space, there was an extra bed in our room so fitting kids would be no problem.
Broadband wasn't working - reception was happy to help fix it or let us use the reception one free, but I didn't really need it so didn't bother. Excellent all round :)

We had such a great time here that we want to go back again. The owners were so friendly and the help really cared. We didn't get to enjoy the pub because they were remodeling it, but it had live music and the reputation in the area was great. One of our favorite of the six different places we have stayed so far.

Hadn't been to Caseys (or Baltimore) before, and have to confess, at first sight I was concerned - not what I was expecting......however, doubts were removed pretty much instantaneously.
Booked in by friendly and helpful staff, and directed to room.
Room was large, airy and clean with a superb view - ruined church, tidal inlet and rolling hills.
Restaurant for evening meal and breakfast. Nice room with great views - provided that you are close to the window.
Excellent menu, and restaurant staff are superb, especially under the pressure brought on no doubt by it's popularity.
Wouldn't hesitate in recommending Caseys to anyone who isn't a fan of plastic palaces, and on reflection, my initial concern was all down to the buildings orientation to the road - you see the establishments least favourable aspect first.

This is a great little hotel. Unlike the usual 3 star chains its a cosy, friendly little place.
Staff were all friendly and helpul. The food in the restaurant was good. The room was spacious and had a great view out the back. Nice bar area too.

Baltimore itself is a nice village and the hotel is just on the edge as you approach. Easy 10 minute walking distance.

We stayed in Caseys for 2 nights. Everything about it was excellent. They had spacious , bright, airy rooms which are definately above normal 3 star standards and I would recommend to anyone. The restaurant overlooks the sea and has a varied, reasonably priced menu and the food and service was superb. The bar has a lovely atmosphere and is good fun. The Hotel has everything to offer and definately the best place to stay in Baltimore for both accommodation and food. The Caseys and their staff are warm and friendly and offer excellent value for what you get as well as such a relaxed environment.
Baltimore itself has a lot to offer and there is plenty to do , it is a beautiful part of Ireland and not touched by celtic tiger commercialism and is definately worth a visit whether to just enjoy the scenery and walks or get involved in the activities.

Hotels in Ireland are still to expensive.
However, Caseys offer an external cottage option with a full small kitchen included. I think that these cottages may have been for staff accomodation in previous times??

Do NOT expect to do full self catering in these cottages as it would all be a bit claustrophobic for this.
However, the cottage was cheaper than the main hotel and had a certain charm about it. (The cottage is a 30 second walk to the hotel and you get breakfast in the hotel).

As an overall view the attraction of the hotel is Baltimore itself. The hotel is not that special.

Stayed here from Wednesday to Saturday and can not praise it enough. We stayed in the townhouse that they have up from the hotel and our accommodation consistented of a double room and separate sitting room with mini fridge. The bed was super king size and very comfortable with great qualtiy bed linen. Hot bread rolls left outside door every morning in addition to heading up to hotel for breakfast. The breakfast spread had everything that you could want, fruit salad, bowls of strawberries, porridge, freshly squeezed orange juice, scones, selection of apples, oranges, bananas, homemade brown bread and a cooked breakfast. The staff cannot do enough to help you. The reception staff will ring around if you make enquires about boat trips etc without being asked to do and are very free with their local knowledge.

Overall a great experience.
