“Best Smallest hotel....”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

Just back from staying at one of the best smallest hotel I have ever stayed in, from the moment we booked to the time we left the staff couldn't have been more helpful, Our room was well presented and very clean, the restaurant menu was amazing, thought the bar was very warm, was very impressed with the disabled facilities which was great to see.

The only down side was the distance from Baltimore center, but the atmosphere in the both the restaurant and the bar made up for that.

Stayed in Casey's for two nights during April. The room was large, beds comfortable, and had the sea views out the windows.
Breakfast was continental & Irish, with freshly squeezed orange juice, home made jams, breads & scones.
We opted for mostly fish when eating either at the bar or restaurant, seeing the harbour was only 100 mtrs away. Can safely say was one of the best dinning experiences we have had in many a year.
Was nice to be able to 'retire' after dinner to the bar and sit beside a real stove fire, with no television on in the background, able to have a real chat in a real bar.

The staff were very helpful and you could not want for anything with the service provided.

We didnt get to go do Sherkin Island, sea's were a little choppy after a mornings full Irish breakfast.
Enjoy your stay, we definitely did.

My husband and I booked the hotel for 1 night and we chose the Bed and Breakfast and evening meal option.
Everything was perfect. Welcoming reception upon arrival, gorgeous sea view room and a very good dinner.
Breakfast is out of this world! Freshly squeezed orange juice with lots of fresh fruits and Clonakilty sausages and black/white puddings!
The landlady is very welcoming and professional.
Truly recommended!

Room Tip: room 31 is amazing, great sea view!

We went to Casey's Hotel for weekend special offer 99 euro 2bb 1 dinner inc trip to Sherkin Island and we really enjoyed the weekend. Its an old world type of Hotel with lovely views from room to the bay below the garden. The room was nicely fitted out with a very comfortable king size bed. The family run hotel is a very friendly place with a mix of residents and locals.Make sure you sample the scones with homemade blackberry jam.
The restaurant serves freshly caught seafood and we both opted for fish dishes and they were excellent (table beside us had a huge black Sole between them which looked fab). The staff were very professional and friendly, Thanks to you all for a really nice relaxing weekend and we look forward to a return trip.

Room Tip: room 22 was fine

We had our wedding reception at Casey's in March 2013 and we would like to say a massive thank you to Valerie and all the staff for a truly wonderful wedding weekend!! The kindness and hospitality as well as the professional manner were second to none. Valerie is a true lady and an absolute pleasure to deal with. She is an excellent hostess and nothing was a chore for her. She was so accommodating giving us access to the venue the night before so we could decorate. The food was absolutely outstanding, guests are still telling me how amazing it was and how much they loved the venue. The attention to every detail that was paid by Valerie and the staff to us and to our guests did not go unnoticed.

The rooms were beautiful and our bedroom was decorated with rose petals in the shape of a heart on our bed! Such a lovely touch, so thoughtful. The breakfast was to die for!!

We loved Casey's so much we arranged for everyone to meet there the following night. Music was arranged for us and the celebrations continued! Valerie even arranged a birthday cake for one of our guests as he was celebrating his big day that weekend.

We could not have chosen a more wonderful place to celebrate our marriage. We cannot reccommend it more.

We stayed here because our Dublin relations love this hotel and the Baltimore area, I can now see why. Our room was perfectly sized for 2 adults and 2 kids, not too small as is usually the case in hotels, with fantastic views of the bay and the ruins of the church. We had some lovely evenings in the bar chatting to the locals. The restaurant was reasonably priced with a good choice of meals. The staff really made the place what it is though, super friendly and helpful and really accommodating towards the kids.

Stayed here for the St Patrick's Day Bank Holiday. This is the third time here and it just seems to get better each time. We had a different room again and again it was lovely. The staff are really friendly and helpful and nothing seems to be any trouble for them. The atmosphere is relaxed and at times you do really feel that, bar the settee, you could be at home. We felt that for some reason the food was outstanding this particular weekend. Everything we tasted was just superb and plentiful. And the scones were outstanding again! Baltimore is just lovely to chill out away from life and Casey's is just perfect to do it in.
