“A bit hit and miss”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Went here twice on our two weeks holidays . first time it was simply the best food that we had on our trip . The welcome was also very nice. Lovely old pub located well out of the way On this first visit we were really impressed and would have told every one not to miss it . Sadly on our 2nd trip the welcome was not as warm and more important the quality of the food and the service were no where near as good as the previous visit (different waitress ) It wasn't bad just a let down as the first visit had been so good Overall from the 2 visits you can average an excellent the first time with an average the second time to give it overall a very good

“Sibin for food and service”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

We have a family occasion recently we booked and were delighted with the reception and meal served at the Sibin. 56 descended on the lovely rural restaurant just out Baltimore and the staff could not have being more helpful food second to none staff so friendly one staff member going out of her way to keep kids entertained by sending them off to find the fairy house. A sad occasion but the kids will remember a lovely evening .

“Sibin's Food Was Great”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

During our recent visit to Baltimore, we ate Sibin Pub. The food was delicious. The pub was suggested by the locals and they did not steer us wrong. The menu was extension - from several varieties of seafood, lamb, and beef. Their chowder and lamb were excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. I would recommend dining at Sibin Pub if you're visiting the Baltimore area.

“Exceptional... amazing food, great service”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

Our first week in Ireland has been a series of wonderful dining experiences (we aren't easily pleased, but have been able to find consistently good and fresh food everywhere we have visited) - and tonight's meal at Sibin in Baltimore was certainly among the best. The service was extremely helpful - especially as one of our party is gluten-intolerant. They even brought extra of the home-baked GF brown bread to take back to our accommodation. Great local produce lovingly prepared - loved everything but to give an example - the parsnips were sublime, the roast beef moist and well-done and the duck was a treat with every bite. The chef came out to chat with us - and even offered a happy Canada Day (so nice that he knew!) - and we swapped culinary tales. The plain exterior off a tiny side row belies an amazing dining experience.

“A little disappointed.”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

We had been for a drink the evening before and everything was great. We decided to go back and have dinner the next night and I'm afraid after all the good we had heard about it we were disappointed. The food was fine, although the menu was limited and even though we were only eating at 8pm many of the items were sold out. The service wasn't what it had been the day before and the bill was high for what we had when we compared to what else was available in the area. I'm afraid we wouldn't go back for dinner but would definitely go for a drink again.
