Located right on the waters edge, so fantastic views from the decking area which also allows you to arrive by boat.

We visited on a Friday evening during the recent Irish heatwave so it was always going to be very busy. That said we didn't have to wait that long for a great table, opted for the special thai green chicken curry and my wife had the spiced king prawn & beef salad served with garlic bread, great portions and both very tasty.

The only really good thing is that is has a nice view & it gets the afternoon sun.
Everything was just ok - nothing special except the starter of deep fried calamari - compliments to the chef!

We went in here hoping for some nice simple good food, however I received watery veg soup with ONLY 1 slice of brown bread while my girlfriend had the prawns with burnt garlic bread as starter, gave 30min waiting for main course after our starter and the place was at most half full, main course was ok, I had fish and chips which were good but no selection of sauces were given to us, my girlfriend had the duck but she found it very dry and tough, overall, very disappointing especially when it was quite expensive.

If you have lots of luggage I suggest you ask for a groundfloor room as there is no lift to upper floor. Fortunately that's what we had with a shared verandah overlooking the water. Very well presented room and comfortable bed. First impressions is of a modern and relaxed hotel and then there is the bar and restaurant all overlooking the bay. Wished we could have stayed for a few days.
