Went here for a late lunch/early dinner on a Saturday. Technically we were too late for the lunch menu but it wasn't an issue.

I got chicken goujons which can be hit or miss but these were excellent. Proper chicken breast pieces and obviously made fresh rather than out of a packet. My boyfriend has stew which was also very good.

The food is ok at best. The evening with music was magic. Everyone joined in and the guests put in some high quality performances. Just what I hoped for in an Irish pub.

Don't go there... Literally. Lady serving was a little intimidating watching us eating. the food was so bad we could't eat it. She took such offence. I mean we would have eatin anything as we were hungry but this was just awful and microwaved.

The west cork Hotel is your best bet in skibbereen if you are going there

3 plates of very average fish and chips (unidentified fish on the menu but when it arrived it was some kind of flat fish but it didnt taste of plaice so who knows), one pint and 2 soft drinks: over 40 euros. Poor value

Am really surprised to see the negative reviews below,, We stopped here on our way back from Baltimore a few days ago quite tired and looking for the first place that had food. The place itself is quite unassuming looking put it that way,,we weren't thinking we were in for a massive treat or anything, just a bog standard brekkie. What we got was a gorgeous breakfast, with the nicest black and white pudding I've ever had, oodles of extra toast and big jug of juice, we were asked more than once if we needed anything else-top ups of tea etc..we were even given complimentary pastries free of charge!

The waitress and the woman who cooked the food were lovely and we left full and in good spirits :) Well done Annie May's, a fab spread and wonderful hospitality - will be back again soon!
