I seems like the places in Irland get worse the more bus tourists stream into town. This place was ok, but the price for a bottle of Bulmers cider is not really convincing: 4.50€ for 0.3l. Usually this is the price for a pint, which is 50% more in size.

Not even were the drink prices listed anywhere, not fair.

My partner and I a few weeks ago were on vacation to lovely Kerry. We were doing the Ring Of Kerry and we were taken by Sneem so we stayed for a couple of days!! on our first day entering the quant village we were hungry and saw Gossip as we were walking and went in! the waitress was really friendly and the service was fast. I ordered Pizza and it was devine and my Partner ordered the seafood chowder which quote "the best seafood chowder hes ever had" and my charles loves a good seafood chowder !! i loved the interior of the place as it was different to the other resteraunts/cafes in Sneem. Overall loved it and would highly recommend this place !!

We went to Gossip on our first evening in Sneem after a long couple of days travelling. Had lamb burgers in pitta, with salad and hand-cut chips - it was awesome and very reasonably priced compared to some of the other local food places. We ended up going a couple more times and Joanne even opened up for 6 of us on our last evening there (despite the fact the closed sign was up). She cooked fresh meals for all 6 of us on her own and looked after us well. It was a lovely, intimate way to spend our last evening with family that we aren't going to see for a while. Gossip offers really good food at a very reasonable price. Thank you Joanne

We visited late afternoon, on a day we'd done a lot of driving. The coffee was the best we've had in Ireland and the scones too. The owner even wrote us a short list of directions to get us back to Cork as directly as possible. THANK YOU

On our tour of the Ring of Kerry we stopped in Sneem for lunch. It is a quaint place, with layover average food. There was a good showing of locals and we benefitted from Sneem's family festival.
Worth a stop on the Ring if you are hungry. Service was a bit slow but I attribute it to the combination of pace and festival.
