“Great experience, Amazing day for Adults & Kids of all ages”

What a place!

An amazing experience we had during our visit to Blueberry Hill Farm recently! We were well looked after from the second we walked in the gate, the owners were very friendly and knowledgeable about their farm and their animals.

We got treated very well, the kids made scones and then we went off and made candles while the scones were baking, we then went back and eat our hot scones!

Would highly recommend visiting the farm if you are visiting anywhere near sneem, highly enjoyable, well looked after, great for kids and adults, WILL DEFINITELY CALL IN AGAIN!

Had a wonderful time at blue berry farm, our 2 children had an amazing treat from feeding the baby animals to collecting eggs, children made us some lovely scones from hand made butter, not just a pet farm but we felt like we were visiting a friends home we were so welcomed, I think my daughter is going to take up candle making after the lovely lesson she had, a must visit hidden gem of Kerry

“A Great and relaxing experience.”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

My wife and I spent 3 hours at Blueberry Hill farm in early June. What an experience and we both had a great and relaxing time. Siggi and Yvonne gave us a very informative tour of the farm. We loved the animals and the variety of fowl. The three goat kids were amazing and so friendly. It brought back many happy memories of our youth. At the end of the tour we were offered tea, homemade scones and homemade butter which was delicious. For anyone travelling the Ring of Kerry or visiting Sneem a visit to this farm is a must. It is a great place to bring children. One of the most unique attractions in the area.

“Excellent”
Reviewed July 14, 2013

Excellent worthwhile visit for all the family to enjoy. Kids had a blast!! Interaction with the animals is very good and educational and both Yvonne and Sigi are great especially with kids. Really worth a visit to see how a proper farm is run and how enjoyable it can be to live and work on a farm.

“Great three hours for family with smaller kids!”
Reviewed July 11, 2013 via mobile

I went here with my nine, six and two year old for three hours during the great weather in July. Sigi was very accommodating to old and young and made the farm visit very interesting. There are lots of animals on this working farm and kids will be able to get up close and feed the animals and learn more about them. It is hands on and great fun. If you want sterile Disney theme park entertainment then this place is not for you. My kids loved it. After you see and feed the animals (pigs, piglets, cow, calf, sheep, goats, chickens, guinea fowl, turkeys, geese, ducks and rabbits) you or more likely the kids can make butter and wonderful scones. While the scones are cooling Sigi will show you how to make candles.

If you have time and are interested I would recommend reading the website www.blueberryhillfarm.ie which details the backstory to the farm and the family who work it. This is our first visit to this part of Kerry. This farm has a wonderful story and lovely people. Would recommend to a family with kids. Prices listed on website.
