We stayed here for 19 nights in August. It was our first time in Ireland.

From the moment we were met by Sean, to saying our goodbyes to Kathy, we had an amazing holiday.
They are head and shoulders above anything the Caravan Club has to offer in terms of hospitality and customer relations - and without even trying.
The site is immaculately maintained. Concrete pitches with large area between units. The layout means you never overlook anyone elses area. Toilet/showers are immaculate at all times of day and night.
The site is split into 3 areas, a group of statics set back, caravans/motorhomes in front and then a very large area for tents closer to the entrance.
The site is populated by solos, couples, friends and families and never seemed crowded.

The friendliness on the site and in the region in general is amazing. A walk past the statics to empty the wastemaster could take up to 20 minutes with everyone interested in a conversation.

Both Kathy and Sean are always on hand with a ready supply of information on where to go, when to go and which way was best. The recommendation of the Glenbeigh Hotel next door was taken up and did not disappoint.

The site sits on the Ring of Kerry so travel in either direction opens up wonderful trips, to Valentia Island, Cahirshiveen, Killarney, Kenmare, Dingle, Tralee , and the Gap of Dunloe.

In over 20 years of caravanning in the UK and Europe, this is up there with the best.

I left with a map that Sean had lent to me.

Looks like I'll have go back to return it.

Room Tip: Caravan pitches set just off the road offer a better view of the beach and coastline, but there are...

Recently stayed in a rented mobile home in Glenross Camping & Caravan Park. . The site is perfectly located, just a very short walk from the village of Glenbeigh, with all amenities on hand. It is a nice quiet and well maintained site with free wifi included. The mobile home itself was a very clean and spacious Would I stay again?, a most definite yes!

What a lovely welcome we got from Cathy the park manager. She could not have been more helpful during our 7 nights stay at beginning of July. The park was spotless and is a credit to both Cathy and Sean. I would thoroughly recommend the park to everyone. Also the area is very beautiful and well worth a visit, especially Valencia Island.

We stayed 4 nights camping at end July and it really was perfect. The whole place is spotless and the facilities are excellent. The views are magnificent. We had some rain and the campers kitchen was brilliant, with kettle, microwave, fridge and freezer all under the one roof.Standards are so high and yet Cathy and Sean are very relaxed, helpful and always available with great local knowledge(Bord Failte should be v.proud of them). The cars are parked in carpark making it v.safe for children. The hotel next door to the campsite is v.handy but 10mins walk brings you to shops, restaurants, pubs etc.The beach is beautiful and has a fantastic playground. All round this campsite has everything to make your stay perfect.Well done and Thank you.

We had 5 nights at this site in a touring caravan and were mightily impressed. The hosts are outstanding people and went out of their way to make sure customers were supported in every way from practical help to advice on restaurants, places to visit and what to do. The site is very well maintained and the toilets, showers, games and laundry rooms were immaculate. We will be back.

Originally was to stay here for one night however ended up here for 4 nights while travelling the beautiful ring of Kerry.. Met Kathy and Sean who immediately made us feel very welcome and was very informative of all local attractions. The weather was beautiful and on our pitch we had a wonderful sea view. On checking in we were informed that broadband was available on all pitches at no extra cost and they did not lie. The grounds and toilet and shower block were spotlessly clean even though it was very busy. All I can say is well done to Kathy and Sean for making Glenbeigh the high light of our journey. We will be back!

Stayed at Glenross with the family (5 and 2 year old) for 8 nights in July. Glad we went mid week to mid week as we got the pick of where to pitch our tent. If we had arrived on Fri or Sat evening, I think I would have been wondering how we would fit in! Not a lot of space left.
Staff on site were brilliant - my wife had sun burn (yes - in Ireland!) and they couldn't have been more helpful with lotions and burn pads etc.
Facilities excellent and clean. Bit more fridge freezer space would be useful when the site is full, but managed to squeeze it all in!
What I liked:
- well organised
- not too large
- quiet at night
- friendly staff
- location is great
What I didn't:
- nothing.

Room Tip: Try going mid-week to mid-week to get pick of sites as was pretty busy at the weekend.
