Before we left Doolin, Maeve at Churchfield B&B recommended we stay at Kingstown when we travel through Clifden. We gave them a call enroute and found the accommodation both warm and hospitable. My friend had two large suitcases and John helped us with the bags. The breakfast which was "on order" was delicious and the homemade bread was one of the best I have tasted. The room was spacious and beds comfortable. It was a very clean establishment. Will definitely stay again in the future. It was a great location and only a short walk away from my favourite jeweller, O'Dalaigh as well as a variety of restaurants and pubs. Both Regina and John were most accommodating. Although parking is metered, we were able to have free parking outside the door as free parking is from 6 pm to ll am.

What a great find - Jim and Regina are so hospitable. Their B&B is in a great location for walking to pubs, shopping and enjoying the lovely town of Clifden. The room was spacious and cozy. We spent our first night in Ireland at the Kingstown and it set a great standard, which was sometimes hard to live up to! With Jim helping us park, and Regina helping us jump start our dead car, we cannot say enough great things. They go all the way! Thanks Jim & Regina! We hope to visit again soon!!!

We stayed 2 nights in Jim and Regina's beautiful old B&B. The breakfast was great and certainly more than one should eat, but what a choice! They had pancakes!!! Big kudos for this! The details of the dining room praiseworthy - textured butter balls, cloth napkins (Ralph Lauren!), all the service ware carefully chosen, clearly. Beautiful.
The very cozy living room with amenities (ok, my partner was not happy about being on display, so maybe some thin curtains to give a bit more privacy without losing the light, and the view from inside). But loved it. The fireplace was kept going all day - loved that.
Jim and Regina were very helpful in telling us where to sightsee, and eat.
This just made my trip to Ireland so special.

First of all I must say BREAKFAST was absolutely BEAUTIFUL... Service number 1, eggs and rashers very tasty:) specially HOME MADE BROWN BREAD!!! yummy:)
The rooms very clean and cosy- beds that comfy you would stay there all the time, but then you'd miss the beautiful views aroud the area.
Location perfect- very quiet but just around the corner of centre...
Traditional Irish pub's, friendly people, great time...
Price as good as anywhere... :)
We definitely will be back there... Great place for weekend away with friends:)

Everything about this B&B was excellent, the breakfast, the rooms, the bed, the location, the owners. Stayed two nights and I have nothing bad to say about the place. Will definitively go there again when if I'm ever back Connemara!
