“Perfect accommodation, perfect location, perfect owner!”

My family and I recently spent one week in this fabulous townhouse. It was immaculately clean, fully equipped with EVERYTHING you could need (from extra towels to tinfoil!) and wonderfully situated in the centre of Clifden. Moreover, it was a very quiet location which was wonderful for sleeping children. There is also secure underground parking which was very convenient. The house is modern and very comfortable and the Wifi is excellent.

Overall, I would highly recommend this house and would definitely stay here again. Hugh, the owner, is wonderful and so welcoming and helpful! Thanks for everything Hugh, it was lovely to have met you.

Spacious and very clean. A great place to stay. Hugh was very helpful and have to say everyone we met in Clifden from shop keepers to bar staff were lovely. Everyone took time to chat and made us feel very welcome. Would recommend the boardwalk cafe, well worth the walk -great food.

“This is just brilliant”
Reviewed June 9, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

The house is fantastic, four bedrooms all ensuite and well equipped, we were five adults, two children and one well behaved puppy. Situated in the centre of Clifden, with easy reach to beautiful white sandy beaches, fantastic countryside and mountains, riding and walking opportunities, historic places of interest and great bars and food. What more could you want. The owner Hugh was flexible and attentive without ever being intrusive, highly recommended.

“Lovely townhouse in Clifden”

We stayed in No.11 with friends over Easter and it was perfect for our group of 7.Hugh,the owner , was extremely considerate and helpful both before and during our stay and the welcome pack was a nice touch. The house itself is great-the living area is large and bright and there was plenty of room for our group to cook, eat and relax.
It was great having 4 ensuite bedrooms,no queueing for showers in the morning!Everything was spotless when we arrived and the house is nicely furnished.
The location couldn't be better-right in the town close to all the shops, bars and restaurants of which there are many.We liked Guys the best, very reasonable prices for very good food. It's very popular with families too.
I would highly recommend this property.Underground free carparking was a bonus too as it is pay parking on the streets around.

Caroline and her party were a pleasure to have staying at No 11 in the Courtyard..... They are very familiar with Clifden and Connemara from their many previous visits...... They are good fun and their return visit was very popular ( Ask Shane in "Guys" bar/cafe and snug ). Its good to hear they enjoyed themselves.... They left No 11 in great order and will always have a warm welcome at the Courtyard in Clifden.... Hugh

“Fantastic house in amazing location!”

We stayed at No. 11 for four nights over New Year and had a fantastic time. The house itself is faultless. The kitchen/living area is very spacious and beautifully finished, the bedrooms are all lovely and with the added advantage of each one being an en-suite. There were four of us and we had ample room, the house could easily accommodate double. The location was brilliant right in the centre of town so everything was within walking distance and the private, underground parking space was a huge bonus. Clifden is in a beautiful part of Ireland, the scenery on our walks was breathtaking; plenty of beaches, lakes, greenery, castles and more..! There are lots of pubs, restaurants and shops in the town to keep you busy too.
The owner of the house is extremely welcoming and accommodating, in the lead up to our stay he was extremely helpful offering tips for the area and directions to get there. He made sure the house was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need and upon arrival we immediately felt at home because of his warm and friendly disposition.
We would definitely recommend the house and can't wait to go back again!

“Apt 11 The Courtyard, Clifden - wow!”
Reviewed September 15, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We stayed at this townhouse in Sept 2015 and even the pictures do not do this place justice. The owner has thought of just about every possible need of his tenants and provided the nicest holiday house we have ever stayed in. Not mentioned on the page, he has also now put in high speed broadband at no additional charge for the tenants (some owners should really take note of this!), and the smart TV in the living room was brand new and excellent (not that you will be watching much TV but when you have small children it is a necessity). Beds were comfortable and duvets and blankets were supplied to meet everyone's needs. The town (Clifden) was utterly gorgeous and the area (Connemara) has to be one of the most beautiful places on the planet. The striking mountains in the background and the most unspoiled white sandy beaches left an impression on us which will last a lifetime.
