We spent only 1 night there, but would like to stay a bit longer. Nicest staff, delicious breakfast, huge rooms with high ceelings.. Could be a bit tricky with a parking, but there are some 3 spaces in front of the entrance.

We spent two nights at the Sea Mist House as part of a bicycle tour of Western Ireland. Our host, Shelia welcomed us warmly and was always ready to help us find our way around the downtown area, just steps from her door. Our room was large and comfortable and even though it was on the front of the house, we had no problem with noise keeping us awake.

Our breakfasts were wonderful, and were made even more memorable by the beautiful flower garden just outside the window.

This was one of the places which made Ireland special for us.

A quick ramble thru clifden led us to this lovely b&b, we knew straight away we wanted to stay, dipped in history and with all the character and charm u hope for this b&b really added a warm cosy feel to our stay. Local pubs only 2 mins away with fantastic traditional toe tapping irish folk musicians drew us into indulge in some well needed pints. Would highly recommend to anyone. Owners and staff were welcoming and friendly and very well organised, a real gem of a b&b. Thank u Sea Mist House.

We stayed here for one night while touring Connemara. Beautiful house, perfect location near shops, restaurants and pubs. Lots of sightseeing a little further abroad. The owner was very accommodating, even going out of her way to have gluten free products for breakfast for one of our party. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable.

We spent already three times in Clifden at the Sea Mist House, because all our wishes became true. The house itself is immaculate, while being very homely. An old family home in Georgian style bewitches with a lot of charm, elegance and comfort, surrounded by an fascination flower garden. A very warm welcom of Sheila let you arrive and relax. Our room was just beautiful - very tastefully decorated and comfortable with tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast in the winter garden with lovely home cooked bread and scones, freshly squeezed orange juice, a divine fresh fruit cocktail with homegrown herbs and a large choice of cooked breakfasts - pan cakes, full Irish, salmon, poached eggs. An open fire place invites you in the evening to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere of this magic place. If you rather prefer to go outside for a walk to the Seaside or into town for shopping or for a Guinness - no problem, all within walking distance. This accommodation also is the ideal starting point for trips around Connemara. Can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: All room have good quality.

We always enjoy our holidays driving around the west of Ireland. However no trip would be complete without a visit to Clifden and a stay at Sea Mist House. The accommodation is excellent with great attention to detail and the best breakfast around - especially the Pancakes!Look forward to our next visit.
