“Who could ask for anything more”
Reviewed September 14, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Looking out the windows or from the patios at million dollar views of the Clifton harbor is reason enough to stay here. It doesn't end there the house is very well appointed with almost every item needed to prepare a gourmet meal if you desire. If you forgot an item it might be there. The furnishings are of good quality, plenty of hot water, reading material, music. Best house we ever stayed at. Village of Clifden fulfills everything one could need. Not to be missed.

“Do not second guess yourself. This is the place.”
Reviewed June 13, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We were a group of three couples staying three nights. The home was spotless and very well furnished. The view out the front window immediately hit the "relax" spot, and all the bedrooms had the same view. We couldn't have found a better spot if we had spent months looking.

“Fantastic and well equipped property”

This is a lovely and slightly quirky house. Lots of space, all the rooms are large and have fantastic views out over the at; antic. There are two patio areas to sit out and a gas barbecue if the weather is good enough, a massive kitchen and dining area with utility room, and a lovely comfortable lounge. Finally a large double + single bedroom with ensuite and a separate toilet complete the downstairs.
Upstairs 2 ensuite doubles.
Throughout the house there are books, LP's and CD's and the place is adorned with an eclectic mix of items. Genuinely short of absolutely nothing.
Its a great location in Connemara just off the Sky Road and close to the town with all needed amenities and lots of places to eat. Very close to all the Connemara attractions.
The views are to die for!

“well appointed house in beautiful location”
Reviewed August 24, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We were welcomed on arrival by Marie. The house is in a beautiful tranquil seafront location, yet within easy walking distance to Clifden. Derryinver is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Our favourite restaurant was Mitchell's in Clifden.

“Fantastic house, wonderful location”
Reviewed July 11, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Derryinver is a wonderfully comfortable house, in a beautiful location. The owners have thought of everything, making this a real home from home for a very relaxing holiday. The views are magnificent, the walk into Clifden is a real pleasure, and there are lovely outdoor seating areas to enjoy. Highly recommended!

“Perfect house, convenient location”
Reviewed May 31, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Stayed with husband and friends. Large, pristine house with all amenities overlooking a beautiful inlet. Minutes by foot to central Clifton. Minutes by car to Connemara National Park. Convenient base for day trips to Galway, Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher, and the Burren. Owner was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

“Spacious with fabulous views”
Reviewed September 18, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Returned from holiday 2days ago from this lovely house , spacious and comfortable, with fabulous views of the estuary, very quiet and relaxing,it has everything needed to be a home from home , we had wonderful weather so we could dine al fresco a lot.
local crab,( the best we,ve ever tasted,) a glass of wine the local artisan bread and that fabulous view , what more can you ask?.its about 15-20mins stroll into the town ,with all it's shops, restaurants and bars, passing the small harbour on the way .
There are lots of things to do and see in the area ,a short drive and the beaches are wonderful.
The Corrib Loch is quite beautiful, its huge, and pretty, it has picnic tables ,it's on the way to Cong , the pretty little town where a lot of the footage for the film The Quiet Man was made, and the replica cottage where John Wayne and Maureen O,Hara lived. Its a lovely drive about an hour from Clifden.
Marie, the owner of the house rang us on the day we arrived ,to give us directions, and was there waiting on our arrival, she told us about the house and said to get in touch if there was anything she could help with , very unobtrusive but very friendly and obliging lady.
We had a wonderful holiday and it won't be very long before we,re back!,,
