we stayed with the Mullens for the Connemara Half marathon in March 2012. It was wonderful great rooms with everything needed even a power shower for the much needed shower after the race, the breakfast was wonderful and amongst the best we have had in Ireland. This irish hospitality at its very best, they excel at what they do and we highly recommend it.

Ardmore House is pure perfection. The Mullen's have a beautiful home and the house is spotless. The beds were super comfortable. Be sure to take their advice and walk out to the cliffs behind the house. The views are spectacular.

As keen walkers and with the excellent spring weather we are currenlty experiencing we headed west for some walking, Ardmore House in Clifden was our selection and we were lucky to be able to get a room at short notice. This really has the WOW factor, from arrival to departure you are made feel like part of the family, the rooms are huge and the beds equally so, this is a family farm and it has the warm country welcome and the food is the type your granny made, homemade breads and cakes. Breakfast was divine and the area lends itself to the walker with excellent walking all throughout the area. We had a brilliant week end, we have arrived home refreshed & renewed and cannot wait to return.

Room Tip: The rooms all appeared equally good...

We really enjoy our stay in Ardmore house in Clifden. The location was great, just few kilometers off from Clifden on the sky road.
The room was really spacious, with an incredible triple size bed! All was lovely and clean, there is also a sitting room with a PC for the guests.
There is also a private footwalk to the cliffs, we loved that, including a lovely pond. You can't miss it.
Mrs Mullen was really nice, always smiling, we miss her and the lovely breakfat she prepared us! Try the pancakes!

This B&B is nice and modern, clean and refreshing change after staying in several traditional B&B's. Our room was lovely, comfortable and quiet. There is a beautiful short walk to the water, delightful. The breakfast was very nice and good. The drive to the B&B is a bit narrow and winding but not bad after you do it the first time. Clifden was one of the nicest areas we stayed in Ireland, would love to go back and spend longer. We left the B&B and traveled on to the Ashford, I highly recommend a visit even if you are not staying there.

Located a few kilometres out of Clifden on an attractive peninsula Ardmore House is a delightful and welcoming place to stay. Our room was lovely, well furnished and the breakfast was exceptional - even in a country where B&B breakfasts are routinely of a very high standard! The owners have put in a walkway to the beach which provided a pleasant stroll after arriving. Outstanding value
