My sister, wife, and I visited Ireland this past summer. I scheduled and arranged the trip w/accommodations. We arrived in Clifden on the west coast of Ireland on July 5th and stayed for two nights at The Quay House, owned and operated by Paddy and Julia Foyle. Let me say that not only was our room spacious, well appointed and scenic, but both Paddi and Julia were gracious and accommodating. The breakfasts were top notch served in a beautiful atrium room. We had selected Clifden as it was a good location to visit Westport, Kylemore Abbey, and the ride back from Westport along the coast was breathtaking. Clifden is also a "neat" village.
We plan on returning to Ireland in 2-3 years and most definitey will return to Clifden and The Quay House.
