Nothing to astonish one, but more of a pilgrimage, to visit these sort of places gives us a sense of the event in history.

What a place to land. It's interesting to think of the awful journey and the bravery/madness that such a large reward provokes.

Very disappointing, lots of open bog land, some good views over Clifden, but very little about Alcock and Brown

The views are better than the site itseslf which is only a stone with a plaque - road is single track with grass up the middle - got to hope you don't meet anyone.
